Jose Daniel is a Mexican production designer drawn to bold, personality-driven stories with big worlds to develop. He earned a BA in Industrial Design and studied abroad in Jerusalem, Melbourne, and Tokyo. He later discovered his passion for production design during an internship at The Walt Disney Company Mexico. Since then, he's worked on projects for Disney, Sony, and Warner Bros., and has brought his vision to genres such as sci-fi, horror, and musicals.
His work includes collaborating on the project CUANDO VOLVIMOS A LA TIERRA (McDonald's Spotlight Dorado finalist) as an Art Director and the ambitious and richly imagined period short THE WITCH PRICKER AND THE HARE as a Production Designer.
Now based in LA, Jose holds an MFA in Production Design from the AFI Conservatory and continues to grow in the art department, aiming to bring vibrant stories to life on the big screen.
